Eutectics run at 5th Annual Larry Young Invite

The UHSP Eutectics competed in ideal conditions at the 5th Annual Larry Young Invitational hosted by Columbia College in Columbia, MO. In the team competition, William Woods scored a 41 to finish first in the Women's Division. UHSP finished 9th out of the 11 teams with a 266. The Eutectics finished in front of Williams Baptist and Webster University. In the Men's Division, UHSP did not record a team score, having just three runners. Huntington (IN) won the Men's Division with a 38, three points better than Missouri S&T.

Individually, Emma Puetz of Missouri S&T posted a 18:10.21 to win the Women's Division. Alyssa McPike ran the best time for the Eutectics finishing 44th with a 22:52.78 while Abby Baxter was 58th, turning in a time of 24:23.15. Sophie EasthamJamie Crites and Ajia Vigil finished 82nd through 84th with times of 29:55.00, 32:37.45 and 32:37.67 respectively.

Kent Yoder of Huntington won the Men's Division at 24:57.56. The top Eutectic was Zach Brasel in 108th place with a time of 32:49.83. Jeremy Smith was right behind Brasel in 109th at 33:14.42. Enze Hao finished at 40:38.98 in 125th place.
