Athletic Training

Welcome to the Athletic Training page for the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (UHSP). This page is here to guide incoming student athletes, current student-athletes, parents and visiting teams.

UHSP's athletic training facility (ATF) is located in the Recreation and Student Center (RAS). The ATF is located down the hall from the competition gym in room #131.

Within the ATF, you will find 3 treatment tables, 2 taping tables, modalities ranging from NormaTec's, Game Ready units, E-Stim/Ultrasound, hot and cold therapy etc. and additional space for rehabilitation and treatments! The athletic training office can be found within the facility making it easy to find an athletic trainer.

The goals of the UHSP Sports Medicine Staff are to prevent athletic injuries as much as possible through effective injury prevention programs and to return injured athletes to their previous competitive status in the safest and quickest manner.
