Bio

Anzalone joins the UHSP women’s soccer coaching staff this season, bringing a a wealth of knowledge and experience. He is a former Division I athlete, having played soccer for Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville from 2006-2011. During his time as a Cougar, Anzalone was a three-season leading goal scorer and was named to the 1^st team OVC All-Conference team. 

Prior to arriving at UHSP, Anzalone recruited and coached men’s soccer athletes for Southwestern Illinois College in Belleville, Ill. 

Anzalone is devoted to his athletes and enjoys speaking to new recruits to discuss the collegiate level athletic experience as well as his plans to help his players improve the UHSP women’s soccer program. 

With a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and previous experience as a personal trainer for athletes and the community, he plans to develop nutrition and exercise programs to help UHSP athletes perform at their best.
