Adams' brace leads to AMC Player of the Week nod

ST. LOUIS, MO - The American Midwest Conference announced their latest Players of the Week in Women's Soccer for the week of September 23-29. The University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy's Kyndal Adams was named the AMC's Offensive Player of the Week. Adams beat out two other goal-scoring nominees to garner the Player of the Week honors.

A pair of goals by Adams propelled the Eutectics to a 5-0 win over the Central Baptist Mustangs on Saturday, their lone game within the week. Adams had four shots and three on goal in the conference-opening win. She scored her first goal 11:18 into the contest to give the Eutectics some breathing room against the visitors from Conway, AR. Then eight minutes into the second half, Adams would tally again as UHSP put the game away in the second half.

Those were the first two goals of the season for the freshman and she now has six shots, four on goal for the year. This marks the sixth time in UHSP history that a player has won conference Player of the Week honors as Adams is the fifth player to collect those honors.

The win over Central Baptist moved the Eutectics to 3-3 (1-0 AMC) on the year with a road game at Illinois College set for Tuesday night.
