Delvois Named First-Team All-Conference

The Heart of America Athletic Conference (HEART) has announced UHSP's Nadiya Delvois as a First-Team All-Conference selection for the 2024-25 women's lacrosse season.

Delvois was among 16 individual athletes selected for the HEART all-conference first-team and one of five defenders on the list.

Delvois was a key player for the Eutectics on defense, serving a big role on transitions and in the midfield. The 5'5" freshman defender from Staten Island, N.Y., broke the UHSP program record for single season Caused Turnovers with 29, ranking ninth in the NAIA. She finished the season with a team-leading 42 Ground Balls, just one short of the program record, ranking 20th in the NAIA. In addition, her versatility on the field allowed her to crossover to offense at times and assist in getting points, scoring three goals and recording two assists on the season.

In their first season as a member of the HEART, Delvois helped the Eutectics finish sixth of nine teams in the Conference, with a record of 6-9 overall and 3-5 in the HEART, to qualify for the post-season tournament.
