OTTAWA, KS – UHSP and Ottawa met for the second time this season in the Heart Tournament Quarterfinals. A pair of Michelle Le goals in the five minutes put the Eutectics on top 2-0, but the Braves scored five straight and never trailed the rest of the way en rout to a 19-4 win. Payton Burke scored to cap the first quarter with UHSP trailing 5-3. Ottawa went on a goal scoring binge scoring 13 straight before Josie Hayden got the Eutectics back on the board with 4:13 left in the game. 3-Ottawa advances to the tournament semifinals and will play at 2-Missouri Baptist.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:

- Rilee Barnett led the Braves scoring six goals. Ashlyn Lopez added four.
- Brianna Dixon made 14 saves on the day for UHSP, two shy of her all-time school record on
- Shelby Bearden made three saves in the win for Ottawa.
- The Braves outshot UHSP 46-9 including 33-8 in shots on goal.
- Ottawa was awarded 14 free position shots converting on eight. UHSP went 1-for-4 in that category.
The Eutectics finish out the season with a record of 6-9 and a conference mark of 3-5 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
