Le and Podio lead the way as Eutectics edge Bulldogs

EARTH CITY, MO – Michelle Le and Marisa Podio each netted four goals and Ella Penke added a goal and three assists as UHSP outlasted a feisty Tennessee Wesleyan club 11-9 at the Lou Fusz Athletic Training Center. The game was moved indoors due to the frigid temperatures and the stiff winds that made it feel much colder than the actual thermometer reading of 31-degrees. The Eutectics built a 3-0 lead in the first quarter, but the Bulldogs got the final three of the period to tie it 3-3 at the end of the first. A 5-3 third quarter in favor of the Eutectics kept them in the lead and gave them the win.
