Kasting finishes 2nd; Garlick solid outing for 5th

QUINCY, IL - The fall season continued for the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy as they competed in the Wildcat Fall Invitational hosted by Culver-Stockton at Spring Lake Country Club. Only two schools fielded enough golfers to compete as actual teams as Central Methodist outdistanced the Eutectics, 177-221. Reagan Bell (Central Methodist) won the tournament with a 176 (+32) but it was UHSP's Sami Kasting right behind her ten strokes back with a 186 (+42). Caitie Garlick competed well and took nine strokes off her day one score with a 95 on day two as she finished fifth overall after winning a tie-break. Garlick shot 199 (+55). Addison Sullivan who has been one of the strongest for the Eutectics here in the fall went 107/95 for a 202 (+58) and a ninth place finish. Grace Wilkinson shot 110 in the first round battling a stiff wind and was ten better than that on day two. Wilkinson shot 210 (+66) to finish 11th. Zoe Lopez (219) and Leah Macon-Ford (264) finished 13th and 14th overall.

The Eutectics are right back at it after the weekend as they go next Monday and Tuesday at the Railwood Open hosted by William Woods at Railwood Golf Club in Holts Summit, Mo.
