Bio

Meaghan (Crow) Brooks joined the Eutectic softball coaching staff in 2021-22.

Brooks has been instructing fastpitch since 2008. She hails from Imperial, Mo., where she attended St. Pius X high school. She was a four-year varsity starter in soccer, but her true passion always was softball, playin two years for St. Pius’ softball team where she received all- conference, all-district, and all-metro honors. Her senior year she was voted co-MVP of the conference.

Brooks signed her senior year to play with the Lindenwood University Lions (Mo.). In her first season of collegiate softball, she made first-team all-conference and received the Freshman of the Year award. As a sophomore, Brooks stepped up and received first-team honors in the conference and the region. She also received the Player of the Region award. In addition to her success on the softball field, Brooks also made honor roll each semester at Lindenwood.

Brooks made a last-minute decision to transfer her senior year to Missouri Baptist University. In her final season of collegiate softball at Missouri Baptist, Brooks set four school records and tied six. She set the record for Batting Average, On-Base Percentage, Slugging, and Doubles. The American Midwest Conference named her first-team pitcher and shortstop. She was also voted first-team all-region, Newcomer of the Year and MVP of the region. Brooks finished her senior season with the highest batting average (.488) and the lowest ERA (0.93) of the conference.

Brooks graduated with a degree in Sports Management and went on to get her MSE in Sports Management the following year.
