CSC Academic All-District includes Lexi Knoll

University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy's Lexi Knoll has been announced as a member of the 2023-24 Academic All-District Softball Teams as selected by College Sports Communicators. The list recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions including the NAIA, along with NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III.

Knoll anchored half of the Eutectics pitching staff this season while also leading their offense. Along with accounting for 105 and two-thirds innings pitched, the senior appeared in all 40 games this season for UHSP and led the team in hitting with a .336 batting average. She had a team-high 41 hits and a club-leading .396 on-base percentage. Meanwhile off the field, Knoll just completed her studies earning her degree in Medicinal Chemistry.
 
To be eligible for the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), and compete in 90 percent of the institutions contests or start at least 66 percent of the contests. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced June 18.
