Bio

Paul Anderson began his tenure as an Assistant Coach at UHSP in June of 2024. Anderson joins the Eutectics after spending three and a half years as the Head Men's Soccer Coach at Millikin University in Decatur, Ill. The Big Blue finished with a mark of 6-9-1 in 2023 in his final season with Millikin. He is also the current coach for the U13 St. Louis City SC team in St. Louis.

Following a three year stint as the Head Soccer Coach for the Lou Fusz Soccer Club in St. Louis, Anderson spent nearly 12 years as an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Washington University in St. Louis. During his tenure with Wash-U, the Bears finished in the top four in the University Athletic Association (UAA) in eight of his 12 seasons, including a second-place finish in 2010 and won back-to-back UAA titles in 2011 and 2012. Washington University went to the NCAA Tournament five different times with Anderson on board and he was also part of the UAA Coaching Staff of the Year in 2011.

He has spent time as a trainer for a number of youth club teams and camps including two years with the U4-U18 MLS Soccer Camps, one year with the U12 & U18 Swalwell Juniors FC teams in Swalwell, England and one season in Simsbury, Conn. with the U10-U14 United Soccer Group.

Throughout his career, Anderson has coached three All-Americans, 28 All-Region players and 64 All-Conference players.

Anderson earned his degree in June 2004 in Coaching Science with Sport and Exercise Science (BSc) Honors from Manchester Metropolitan University in Alsager, England and currently resides in University City, Mo with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children Madeline and Ryan.
