Tough day at the office as Cougars blank Eutectics

COLUMBIA, MO – The Eutectics dropped their tenth straight contest as UHSP fell to Columbia 8-0 on Saturday afternoon. The Cougars had six different goal scorers and defensively they held UHSP to just one shot in the game.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:

• It was 2-0 Columbia when Joshua Peterson scored the first of his two goals on the day just 8:01 into the game. His second cam unassisted in the 69^th minute when he made it 5-0.
• Christian Morales (1-11) took the loss in net for UHSP as he faced 32 shots from Columbia, 21 of which were on net as he made 13 saves in the contest.
• Osman Naz (3-2) got the win for Columbia in goal as he played an uneventful first half.
• Columbia is now 11-0 all-time against the Eutectics.
