Sitkowski and Woodard named to AMC All-Tournament teams

Following the conclusion of the American Midwest Conference Tournaments, the conference unveiled their 2023 All-Tournament Teams.

On the men's side, the 15-player team includes UHSP's Jacob Woodard. Woodard had a record setting season for the Eutectics scoring a program record 15 goals this season. Woodard scored the lone goal in the 8-Eutectics' 10-1 loss to 1-Williams Baptist, recording three shots on goal in the game. Carter Redford, a midfielder from the eventual tournament champion Columbia Cougars, was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player. Redford was one of four Cougars to land a spot on the All-Tournament Team.

On the women's side, Eutectics defender Emily Sitkowski was selected as one of the 15-players to make the All-Tournament team. Sitkowski was key in UHSP's Quarterfinal contest as the 7-Eutectics nearly shocked the tournament in their contest against 2-William Woods, eventually falling by just a 1-0 score in a game that was scoreless through 81-minutes of play. Columbia forward Isabella Govero was selected as the tournament's Most Valuable Player as the Cougars won their ninth straight AMC Tournament title. Like the men's side, Govero was one of four Cougars to land a spot on the women's All-Tournament team.

The All-Tournament Teams were selected by the eight Tournament-qualifying coaches.
