HOLTS SUMMIT, MO - It was a tough field at the Railwood Invitational hosted by William Woods University at Railwood Golf Course that finished up on Tuesday. The teams played themselves into a top half and a bottom half of the field. The top-8 teams were separated by 47 strokes and the bottom six teams were also within 47 strokes of each other. The University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy found themselves in the middle of that bottom grouping when it was all said and done as they finished 11th place at 647 (+71). William Woods won the tournament with a 581 (+5), seven strokes better than Lincoln University (MO) who had 588 (+12).

Central Methodist's Cole Wiese won the individual title as he edged Henry Mwanza on Lincoln by one stroke with a 5-under-par 139. The top Eutectic was Connor Kosola who finished tied for 32nd at 157 (+13). Kosola went 9-over on day one, but shaved five strokes off that score on day two. He only had two birdies in the entire round, but did not have anything worse than a bogey on day two. Brett Bushue was a stroke behind Kosola in a three-way tie for 35th. Bushue had a pair of birdies in his opening round and was only seven strokes off the lead after day one, but finished +10 in his second round for a total of 158 (+14). Will Turner carded a 162 (+18) ending up in a four-way tie for 47th. Turner had a roller-coaster of an opening round as he racked up four birdies, but also had two double-bogeys and a triple. His only birdie on day two came on the par-5 16th hole which he also birdied in the opening round.

Alex Chandler and Abe Neal finished within two strokes of each other in 62nd and 66th place respectively. Chandler had two birdies overall and finished +27 at 171 while Neal had one birdie and shot a 173 (+29). Cooper Thomas was 81st with a 195 (+51).
