ST. LOUIS, MO – The American Midwest Conference on Thursday announced the All-Conference teams for the 2024-25 Men's Basketball season. Ahian Barnett received All-Conference Honorable Mention honors while Bryant Odunayo was selected to the All-Freshman Team. Moctar Keita was named as the UHSP representative for the Champions of Character Team. Seven Eutectic players were named to the AMC Academic All-Conference list.
Barnett was named as an Honorable Mention selection for the second straight season. He was one of eight players named to the All-AMC Honorable Mention Team. He was the team's leading scorer at 15.5 points-per-game and was their leading scorer in a particular game 11 different times this season. Barnett dropped a season-high 40 points in the penultimate contest of the season on Feb. 15 against Mission. The senior shot 44.2% from the floor, 32.3% from the perimeter and 72.2% from the foul line. The St. Louis native averaged 3.5 rebounds-per-game and 2.8 assists-per-game. He closed the season strong scoring a combined 21 points in the final two games of the season on 7-of-13 shooting. Odunayo is the fifth Eutectic to land a spot on the AMC All-Freshman Team in the last four years.
Odunayo is joined on the All-Freshman team by Columbia's Nate Brandt, Ryder Williams of Mission, Aaiden Ashton from William Woods and Cooper Rabjohn of Williams Baptist.
