Three on diamond named CSC All-District

After their first full-fledged season of college baseball, the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy saw their first group of players named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Barrett Lohman, Ruben Ogando and Robert Uhlmeyer were the players off the 2024 Eutectics squad that met the requirement to be named to the team. The 2024 Academic All-District Baseball Teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.

Lohman was a second-year player for the Eutectics this past season with Ogando and Uhlmeyer each in their third year. Uhlmeyer led the club with a .386 batting average and was third on the club driving in 24 runs. Ogando was second on the team in hitting at .376. Lohman meanwhile, logged the second-most innings pitched at 45.0. He appeared in 11 games and was third on the club with 37 strikeouts.

To be eligible for the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), and compete in 90 percent of the institutions contests or start at least 66 percent of the contests
