Kailey Samora has played an important role for the Eutectics both offensively and defensively. Sitting atop the UHSP lineup, Samora finished the season with a .379 batting average, good for third on the team. That average is now fifth-best all-time in UHSP softball history for a single season. She raised her batting average nearly 100-points from a season ago after she hit .280 last year. The senior finished the season by recording at least one hit in the last seven straight games and 20 of the last 22.

On the year, Samora had three doubles, two triples, drove in 11 runs, scored 35 times, stole five bases and had an on-base percentage of .430.

Defensively, Samora was part of the key up-the-middle defense for the Eutectics as she patrolled centerfield. She had just eight errors on the year and finished with a fielding percentage of .906. She had eight outfield assists on the campaign.
