Kianna Pilling, Softball

Kianna Pilling's bat helped the Eutectics clinch a spot in the 8-team American Midwest Conference Tournament. In an April 20 doubleheader against Hannibal-LaGrange, Pilling went 5-for-9 with a double and three runs scored in the two games combined while driving in four runs in the second game as UHSP swept a pair from the Trojans and locked up the 8-seed in the tournament. Pilling is currently fifth on the club in hitting with a .291 batting average and her 18 RBI's and six doubles on the year both rank third on the club. 

Defensively, Pilling represents half the catchers on the team as she has essentially alternated games with Makenzie Ness behind the plate. Pilling has committed just three passed balls on the season.

Pilling and the Eutectics are idle until April 30 when they face 1-Missouri Baptist in the first round of the AMC Postseason Tournament.
