ELSAH, ILL. – The Eutectic women's soccer team is off to its best start in program history, knocking out a 2-1 victory over the NCAA Div. 3 Principia College Panthers (1-2) on Tuesday night at the Panther's home field. The win maintains an undefeated season record for the Eutectics of 5-0.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
- Alexa Hildebrand gave the Eutectics the lead with the first goal of the game nearly a half hour in. She directed a header off a bounce from a corner into the high center of the net for her fourth goal of the season.
- 12 minutes later, Izzy Rogers scored with a shot to the lower right corner of the goal off an assist from Hannah Tyree. The goal is Roger's eighth of the season, making her career total 16 – the third-best in Eutectic history.
- The UHSP team held the lead at 2-0 through 70 minutes until a shot by Prin's Kiara Smith connected with the low center net to prevent the shutout at 73:41.
- The Eutectics outshot the Panthers 30-5, with 14 Eutectic shots on goal.
- Dani Nether picked up the win at net, making two saves in the game, while Panther netminder C. Walls made 12 saves on the night.
- Now 5-0, the Eutectics' next victory will tie the program all-time season highs from the 2024 (6-9) and 2021 (6-7-1) seasons.

The Eutectics look to maintain their undefeated status as they head to Owensboro, Ky., on Saturday, Sept. 13, for a 2 p.m. matchup with fellow NAIA team Brescia University (2-2).
