Saturday afternoon in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, the 8-University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy Men's Soccer team faced off against the 1-Williams Baptist Eagles in the Quarterfinals of the American Midwest Conference Tournament. The Eutectics were hoping to avenge a 3-0 regular season loss on Oct. 14, but this one would be all Eagles in a 10-1 decision.
WBU came out hot at the start scoring just 5:19 into the contest on a goal from Joao Baretto. The Eagles fired 20 shots towards UHSP keeper Jack Wolfe in the first half. Williams Baptist would go on to score five goals in the first half, including the second from Baretto at 29:27. Jacob Woodard would score the lone goal for the Eutectics at 32:27, his team-leading 15th of the season. In the second half, the Eagles would score five more goals ending the Eutectics season with a 10-1 final.
For the Eutectics, goalie Jack Wolfe would make five saves as WBU outshot UHSP 33-8. The Eutectics finish this year with a 3-11-3 overall record.
